Kay Khan (D – 11th Middlesex)

State Representative Kay Khan has been a constant advocate for animal protection, women in the criminal justice system, education, and mental health as well as LGBTQ issues. She is the House Chair of the Joint Committee on Children, Families, and Persons with Disabilities, Founder and Co-Chair of the Mental Health Caucus, and Founder and Co-Chair of a task force on Women in the Criminal Justice System and Their Children. Khan is currently running for re-election in the 11th Middlesex district. She is also the lead sponsor of the conversion therapy ban bill, which would protect the mental and physical well-being of minors from sexual orientation and/or gender identity change efforts. MassEquality PAC is thrilled to endorse her re-election campaign.
