Senator Sal DiDomenico, Vice Chair of the Senate Committee on Ways and Means and the Joint Committee on Ways and Means, has demonstrated his support for the LGBTQ community during his six years on Beacon Hill. He filed an amendment in 2015 to increase funding for the Massachusetts Commission on LGBTQ Youth, and was a co-sponsor of the recently passed transgender anti-discrimination bill. DiDomenico has served as senator since 2010, and was a member of the Everett Common Council from 2004 to 2010. He has also advocated for the rights of immigrants, people with disabilities, and women. One example of such advocacy is his co-sponsorship of a bill to mandate comprehensive sex education in schools in 2015. MassEquality PAC is excited to endorse his re-election campaign for Senator of the Middlesex & Suffolk district.
