Stan Rosenberg (D – Hampshire, Franklin & Worcester)

Stan Rosenberg has represented towns in the counties of Hampshire, Franklin and Worcester in the Massachusetts Senate since 1991. One of five openly LGBTQ members of the legislature, Stan became the highest-ranking LGBTQ elected official with his appointment as the Senate Majority Leader in Jan. 2013, and was elected as Senate President in a unanimous vote in Jan. 2015. Stan has worked to promote inclusiveness and diversity in government, and was a leader in the 2003 fight to protect the right of same-sex marriage in the Commonwealth. A 1977 graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Stan resides in Amherst with his partner, Bryon. MassEquality PAC is thrilled to endorse him in his re-election campaign.
