William Brownsberger, a senator since 2012, is running for re-election in the 2nd Suffolk & Middlesex district. He serves as the Chair of the Joint Committee on the Judiciary and Vice-Chair of the Senate Committee on Ethics. In addition, he is a member of the Senate Committee on Ways and Means, Special Senate Committee to Improve Government, and serves on several joint committees and commissions. Along with his various roles in the Senate, Brownsberger has been a vocal proponent of the Transgender Anti-Discrimination bill. He has shown his commitment to the LGBTQ community’s and women’s rights through his support of key anti-discrimination legislation, including a petition for legislation relative to gender in hate crimes. MassEquality PAC is thrilled to endorse an advocate for equal rights, William Brownsberger, in his campaign for re-election.
