Finn Allen and Adam Milne Lead New Zealand to Victory Over Pakistan, Extend Series Lead to 2-0



New Zealand won the second T20I, leading 2-0 in the 5-match series. Babar Azam’s half-century was not enough as New Zealand beat Pakistan by 21 runs. Opener Finn Allen and pacer Adam Milne contributed significantly to New Zealand’s victory. Shaheen Shah Afridi won the toss and chose to field first. Allen and Devon Conway opened strongly for New Zealand, scoring 59 runs together before Conway was out. Allen then partnered with Kane Williamson before Williamson retired hurt. Allen completed his half-century, scoring 74 runs off 41 balls. New Zealand reached a total of 194 for 8. In response, Pakistan struggled at 10 for 2, but Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman led a strong comeback. Fakhar reached his half-century, and Babar scored 66 runs. However, Pakistan eventually collapsed at 173 runs, losing the match by 21 runs.
