Opening the innings against Afghanistan, Rohit found himself in a mix-up with Gill and was dismissed for a duck. However, despite his dismissal, India went on to win the match comfortably, with Shivam Dube being the star performer. Dube’s exceptional innings of 60 runs off 40 balls helped India chase down the target of 159 runs in just 17.3 overs. Dube was deservedly awarded the Player of the Match for his outstanding performance.
