Nora Harrington (D – Norfolk, Bristol & Plymouth)

Nora Harrington is running this year to be State Senator for Norfolk, Bristol, and Plymouth. Nora grew up in the Bronx as the daughter of Irish immigrants. She studied Economics at Williams College in Massachusetts, and then went on to get her Master’s degree in Theology from the Episcopal Divinity School. She currently lives in Milton with her partner Andrea, their two kids and dogs, and she has been dedicating her career to social justice and helping others. She has worked for social service agencies in Boston and has raised funds in support of affordable housing, prevent HIV, help the elderly, and protect women and children from domestic violence. She states that she is the only candidate who will fight for economic justice, educational opportunities, LGBT rights, and women’s reproductive rights. In her campaign, she promises to focus on making education a top priority, working on the addiction crisis, and to protect the rights of women, LGBT people, and all people who face discrimination and lack access to certain rights and protections. With a dedication to social change and protecting the rights of others, MassEquality PAC is pleased to support Nora Harrington in her campaign for State Senate.
