There have been discussions about the possibility of relocating some matches to the UAE if India decides not to send its team, with the ICC bearing the additional expenses. The PCB has strongly asserted that if a country declines to send its team due to security concerns, the ICC should not make unilateral decisions and should conduct a comprehensive assessment in consultation with an independent security agency. It has been reported that the ICC has agreed to comply with the PCB’s request.
