In 1999, Anil Kumble took all 10 wickets against Pakistan in a historic test match, leading India to a 212-run victory. His wife, Chetana Kumble, recently shared a photo of his celebration on this memorable day, expressing admiration for his remarkable achievement. Kumble’s 10-wicket haul remains the best figures by an Indian in Test cricket. His impressive performance in both innings resulted in a total of 14 wickets. Only two other bowlers, Jim Laker and Ajaz Patel, have achieved the same feat in a single Test innings. Laker accomplished this in 1956, while Patel recently did so in a match against India in 2021.
