This makes him the most expensive player in the history of the IPL, surpassing his fellow Australian teammate, Pat Cummins. Starc’s addition to KKR’s squad is expected to bring about a significant transformation in the team’s performance. It is important to note that each ball bowled by Starc will cost KKR more than Rs 7 lakh. In the IPL 2024 season, he is set to earn over Rs 1.5 crore for every match, making him a highly valuable asset for the team. Despite having only played 27 IPL matches so far, Starc has managed to secure 34 wickets with an economy of 7.17 in 580 deliveries.
