Despite their efforts, England fell short at 292 runs, leading to a series tie at 1-1. The team has decided to relocate to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for a break and continue their preparations for the upcoming three Test matches against India in Abu Dhabi.
The team is expected to stay in the UAE until just before the third Test scheduled to commence in Rajkot on February 15, utilizing the 10-day break between the second and third Tests.
Contrary to initial criticism, the English team’s response has been resolute, with spinners adapting well to Indian conditions and the batsmen showcasing resilience. The first Test witnessed England securing a victory overcoming an initial setback. However, in the second Test, England fell short in their chase of a 399-run target, ultimately being bowled out for 292. The third Test in Rajkot is anticipated to begin on February 15.
