Pietersen, representing the India Capitals, scored 56 runs off 27 deliveries, including two boundaries and five maximums. Despite the Capitals’ loss, Pietersen had a successful LLC campaign, amassing 169 runs with an average of 42.25 and a strike rate of 177.89. Known as one of the most formidable batters of his era, Pietersen represented England for a decade and had a successful stint in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as well.
