Indian cricket legends Sachin Tendulkar, Mithali Raj, and Anil Kumble graced Ayodhya with their presence for the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Lalla in Uttar Pradesh. Kumble, nicknamed Jumbo, expressed his joy on the occasion, calling it a wonderful and divine event. ‘Blessed to be a part of this. It’s very historic. Looking forward to seeking blessings from Ram Lalla,’ said Kumble. Joining them, current Indian team player Ravindra Jadeja and badminton ace Saina Nehwal also arrived in Ayodhya. Saina Nehwal, in an interview with ANI, conveyed her happiness and urged people to visit the temple in the future.
The ‘Pran Prathistha’ of Ram Lalla at Ram Janmabhoomi is scheduled for Monday afternoon, with the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, saints, and other distinguished guests. Sports personalities like MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Harmanpreet Kaur, and Ravichandran Ashwin have also been invited to the event, which will commence at 12:30 p.m. amid tight security. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has announced that the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony will be complemented by a dazzling musical event titled ‘Mangal Dhwani.’ The temple’s foundation, a 14-meter-thick layer of roller-compacted concrete (RCC), gives it the appearance of artificial rock, with no iron used anywhere in the construction. To protect against ground moisture, a 21-foot-high plinth has been constructed using granite.
