The ECB also confirmed the withdrawal of Harry Brook from the India Test tour for personal reasons. Kohli had previously missed the first T20I against Afghanistan and took a break during India’s tour of South Africa for personal reasons. The last time he took a break from a Test series was for paternity leave in 2021.
