They emphasized the importance of fan support and hinted at evaluating Babar’s captaincy. Aalia Rasheed, the Director of Media at PCB, clarified that the board did not criticize Babar during the tournament. With Babar stepping down, Shan Masood has been appointed as Test skipper and Shaheen Shah Afridi as T20I captain. Pakistan will now focus on a Test series against Australia in December.
