He hit 17 runs (not out) for Fortune Barishal in a BPL match, making him the first Asian player and second overall to reach this milestone. Following this achievement, Fortune Barishal went on to win the match against Rangpur Riders, with Malik also contributing with a wicket. In addition to his cricketing success, Malik also made headlines recently after announcing his marriage to actress Sana Javed in Karachi amid rumors of separation from Indian tennis star Sania Mirza. The 41-year-old Pakistani cricketer and the 37-year-old Indian player have been facing rumors of a split since 2022, and Malik recently unfollowed Mirza on Instagram.
